This blog is non-sense by the way. :)))

THE ART OF GETTING BY

The movie was sweet and very shrewd but it’s a bit uninteresting for the story has been told a lot of times… I mean, it’s not totally original. I’ve seen few movies circling around a plot like that.

The dialogues of the characters are epigrammatic but striking. Emma Roberts looks hot in the movie. :) And Freddie Highmore looks unhealthy.

It’s good that I’ve watched the movie before going back to school tomorrow. It made me realize that I really need not to be idle at school. That I must be conscientious about homework, that everything is possible if you’re positive and confident. I just don’t get why it is titled “The Art of Getting By”. Nyay!

Midnight in Paris (Short Movie Review)

This movie is by far one of the best movie ever made. No doubt this movie ranked 5th in 2011- Full review #mce_temp_url# Bagging different awards in Hollywood Foreign Press Association and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. http://www.fandango.com/midnightinparis_v515754/awards

I fell inlove with this movie because:

  • It is a romance-comedy movie.
  • It circles around the City of Paris, the only place I want to live my whole life (next to Philippines)
  • It’s incredibly funny (only if you have enough sense of humor and sophisticated intelligence, I guess).
  • It’s romantic :)
  • Ernest Hemingway (my literary idol) is part of the casting.
  • It’s about time-travelling
  • It’s a retreat to the present day
  • Woody Allen, the main character is a writer.
  • And because Rachel McAdams is very hot in this movie.

This movie is amusing and enjoyable although some parts are predictable. I recommend this movie to all the would-be writers and artists out there. Also to those who are greatly attached to Paris that you want to see Paris in 20’s with all the wines and the long walks.

If you already read Ernest Hemingway’s The Moveable Feast, you’ll enjoy it more.
